These boneless pork chops recipe with apples is a perfect dish for any day of the week. It’s a combination of savory and sweet, incredibly tender and juicy, infused with rich, flavorful of sweet apples. 

This skillet pork chops with apples and onions beside delicious it’s very easy to make.  

How to make these boneless pork chops with apples and onions

In a large bowl put the pork chops and mix all together minced garlic, salt, black pepper, cayenne, sage, coriander, ginger, spice mustard, BBQ sauce and marinate the pork chops for 5 minutes.

Pan- seared the boneless pork chops on both side until lightly golden brown for 2 minutes per side.  Sauté the apples and onions until the onion are lightly caramelized and the apples have begun to soften about 3 minutes. Now add the apple cider or lemon juice and let it thicken 5 minutes. add water if it needed. Bring the boneless pork chops back in the skillet and cook until the pork cooked through about 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley. 

Serve over rice, pasta or mashed potato.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 boneless pork chops, trimmed
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp coriander
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp sage
  • black pepper
  • cayenne
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter divided
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp spice mustard
  • 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 2 gala apples, sliced 1/2" inch thick
  • 2 onions, thickly sliced
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh parsley or thyme
  • garnish chopped fresh parsley or your favorite herb

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl mix all together minced garlic, salt, coriander, ginger, sage, black pepper, cayenne, spice mostard and BBQ sauce and make a paste. Put in a large bowl the boneless pork chops and marinate for 5 minutes.
  • Put flour on a plate to coat lightly the boneless pork chops, taking off the excess flour.
  • In a large skillet melt one tablespoon butter with one tablespoon oil over medium-high heat. Pan-seared the boneless pork chops on both side until lightly golden-brown for 2 minutes per side.
  • Remove the boneless pork chops from skillet.
  • Sauté the onions and apples until the onions are caramelized and the apples have begun to soften about 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Now add the the apple cider or lemon juice and let it thicken 5 minutes. Add water if it needed. Bring back in the skillet the boneless pork, the apples and onions. Cook until the pork cooked through about 5 minutes.
  • garnish with parsley or your favorite herb. Serve with rice, mashed potato or pasta.
